How not to be bored with your life.

Well technically I am grown up age wise…but mentally I still want to watch cartoons and eat cereal all day.  Let us ignore that shall we? As children we daydream about our dream jobs and then we get older and realize that we are bored with our lives.  I have always been very keen to details and was very observant as an infant. I only realized what  my dream career was destined to be when I was seventeen. And that was to be a forensic investigator!

These  are all pictures I took in my forensic photography class. 

This career is nothing like the shows CSI or NCSI portray it as.  I have seen other students change their major due to false impressions. It is smelly, time consuming, and very heavy on details. I love everything about this job.  I love correctly determining what an unknown substance is.  I love extracting DNA from saliva samples.  This is what I have dreamed about doing.  So do you often feel bored in life? You need to find what you love. Research careers that interest you and find what out what you love to do. It is never too late to start your life! Pay no attention to what others say...do what YOU love.

Why you can wear denim as a goth.

So...perhaps you are a goth male/female/trans and you dread to go out of the house with the mass population just to get eggs or super glue.* My local Dollar Tree is now used to my random visits.* You feel lazy and do not feel like gothing it up to the nines just to get some damn glue! But alas! You do not want to loose goth points.

So can you wear denim as a child of the night? Can denim burn the flesh of a dark-ling?! The answer is....yes you can and no your flesh will not burn unless said denim is on fire. Personally I wear darker washes of denim for lazy days or my nine o clock computer class. Good examples:

Males could wear a looser fitting option of course. Denim jeans can be part of your closet if you know what to wear with it. You could wear a band tee, ripped jeans, and combat boots for a comfy yet still managing to look bad ass. Or dress it up with a black button up for males or black blouse for ladies. Or you could always search at thrift stores for a nice worn in pair of jeans with the fit you like and dye them black!

So do you wear denim? On even more lazy days I wear Halloween themed pajamas in public. *gasp*

Hello World!

Well….here I am again. This is my second attempt at a blog. My first failed due to a busy schedule and not a soul glancing at it. But possibly my second attempt will be a success! *crosses fingers* My purpose of creating this blog is to connect with the gothic community online and of course share my thoughts with the world. I live in a small town in Alabama and there are days where I feel as if I am the only goth in this state. I’m sure there are others out there but I have yet to meet or see any. In this blog I plan on reviewing movies, sharing makeup tips, and various bits of nonsense. Oh how I would love to hear advice from other bloggers!
