Recomended reading and music for all types of goths! (Links galore!)

Summer summer summer summer. I love you yet I despise you. But we all need some nice reading for those days where the sun is just unbearable. Also I love to listen to music while drawing or modifying clothing for summer. And my "spring cleaning" which usually only begins in summer when my schedule is not as hectic is a good time to jam out to music.

:Recommended tunes:
Juke Joint Jezebel-KMFDM

Go with the flow-Queens of the stone age

Lucretia, My Reflection-The Sisters of Mercy

Big Time-Peter Gabriel

You're So Vain-Marilyn Manson

And One-Military Fashion Show

Call Me-The 69 eyes

Strangelove-Depeche Mode

:Recommended Reading:

-House of Leaves-Mark Z. Danielewski
I have never read anything like this book. I feel like I am solving a mystery.
-The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo- Stieg Larsson
Amazing series! It is very dry and boring the first few chapters but then it gets so good!
-Cities Of Silence (A guide to Mobile's Cemeteries)-John S. Sledge
I love reading historic things about the state I live in. This books has such inspiring photography as well.
-Interview With the Vampire-Anne Rice
Because vampires duh!
-Carmilla- Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu
This inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula. It was published originally in 1872 and stars a female vampire who does not distinguish between male or female victims. This gives light that women can have as much sexual deviance as men do. Very ahead of its time.

So do you have a summer reading list?
